This course meets the LPN Florida State Board of Nursing Requirement necessary for LPN’s to perform IV therapy and is an excellent course for RNs with inclusion of Central Lines and its care. This course is appropriate for RNs and LPNs. The 30 Hours is achieved via two classroom sessions totaling 15 hours and also 15 hours of pre-study. Participant will receive hands-on practice with our IV simulation manikins.

Topics include: infection control, central line use, assessment and care. Fluids, electrolytes, blood, plasma, albumin and TPN therapy. Medication math formulas and dosage calculations are also discussed. This program is stress-free and we look forward to seeing you in this excellent program utilizing the latest is Audio-Visual technology. Legal issues as well as scope of practice for RNs and LPNs will be discussed.

Course Fees $180 for 30 Hours of continuing education, course workbook included.
